Garden Update

Summer is winding down, and it will soon be time for Autumn. I’ve recently picked some of the last vegetables of the season out of my garden. Here are some images of the harvest. All in all, it was an OK year for gardening. With all the rain that came this year, I barely had to do any watering. I had a bit of a battle with the bugs, though.


Of course, as many gardeners do, I inevitably ended up with more vegetables than they could consume, so I did a little canning. I made some bread and butter pickle relish out of my cucumbers, and jelly from the hot peppers. Mmmm…


Although I will miss the season of summer fresh veggies, Fall = baking = more yummy goodness. Stay tuned for more posts of delicious goodies…
